Adult Skating (Figure Skating or Hockey)

At Kingsgate we pride ourselves in adult programming and our adult skating community.   If you are an adult interested in learning how to skate (Figure skating or Hockey), we recommend that you start in one of our Learn to Skate Classes.  We currently offer adult beginning and intermediate classes in our Monday and Friday evening classes and our Tuesday morning class.  If you have some skating experience, please join us in one of our Adult classes listed below.

Learn to Skate: US Figure Skating Basic Skills curriculum

Monday and Friday 6:00-7:00 PM, Tuesday 10:45 AM

Beginning Adult Edge with Maria:

This A-Edge-1 class is for adult beginners who are a Level Adult 2 skater or above. Class is 30 minutes long, and is held during Tuesday’s Public Skate session.  mariaskates@msn.com

Tuesday 11:15-11:45 ($5 plus the cost of ice time)

Adult Session and Adult Edge Class:

Adult skaters age 18 and older are invited to skate during our Adult session on Thursday mornings. Adults are also welcome to take the 30-minute Adult Edge Class offered by one of the Kingsgate coaches (or visiting instructor)

Thursday Adult session starts at 9:15-11:00 AM

Edge Class is from 10:00-10:30 ($5 payable to class instructor plus the cost of ice time)

Adult Ice Dance: Mondays 10:15 a.m.

Join us for Adult Dance Ice class on Mondays at 10:15 a.m.  (Instructor Fee plus the cost of ice time)
